There are two ways to experience Palace. There is the actual Palace client (which is software you download to your own computer); and there is The Palace Viewer (which is where you connect to a palace through a web page - no downloads needed).

If you would like to experience Palace before you download the actual chatting client, I'd suggest visiting The Avatar Palace through The Palace Viewer (TPV). Just go to Avatar Palace and click on TPV link towards the bottom of the screen.

You can also visit it through the Palace client, then again - if you already have the palace client you've probably already been there :)

Now mind you, TPV is not drastically different than what the actual client would be, but it is a bit different.

If you have already tried out The Palace Viewer, and you decided that you want to download palace, you can go to Palace Tools to download the client of your choice that fits which OS (operating system) that you are using. There are only two choices as of now: A Palace client to correspond with Window's OS's, which will work just fine on all Windows types, and a MAC client Palace.

If you are downloading the Palace client for a MAC, there are more steps involved to insure that your Palace downloads rooms, avs, and all that and so forth the right way.
